Lake Bodom
|
Lake Bodom is a Finnish lake located on the surroundings of the city of Espoo. The lake measures approximately three kilometres in width and one kilometre in length.
Its popularity comes from the murders that happened on the night of the fourth of June of 1960, in which four teenagers (two boys and two girls) went on a camping trip to the lake and were mysteriously attacked. Three of them were slaughtered and one has been in psychological treatment ever since. This event is commonly referred to as the Lake Bodom murders.
