Lagan Valley
|
Lagan Valley is an area of Ireland. It is between Belfast and Lisburn. The Lagan is a famous river that feeds Belfast Lough. The Irish of Belfast (Béal Feirste) translates as the mouth of the river. It is the River Lagan that names Belfast. The Lagan is part of the border of the Counties of Antrim (Aontroim) and Down (An Dún).
It is also the name of a constituency in the UK House of Commons covering much of Lisburn.
