Kyukyoku Tiger

Kyukyoku Tiger is also known as Ultimate Tiger and Kyuukyoku Tiger. The game is the original version of Twin Cobra and is one player instead of two. The game was developed by Toaplan and published by Taito Corporation. You play a helicopter on a vertical monitor scrolling upwards and shooting enemies that come in from the edges of the screen. There are four types of shots, red shoots straight forward in a wide arrangement, blue shoots in a spray forward, yellow shoots in four directions and green shoots forward in a narrow arrangement but quicker than the red shot. There are also power-ups to increase the power of your shot. The music was created by Tatsuya Uemura. There is a sequel called Kyukyoku Tiger 2 or Ultimate Tiger 2 for Sega Saturn.
