Korydalos (Greek: Κορυδαλλός, Latin: Corydallos or -os) is a municipality which belongs to Piraeus, Greece in the western suburbs of Athens. It is the home of the Korydallos prisons. It sits on a mountain in the west named Aegaleo. It is located W of Athens, N of Piraeus and S of GR-8/E55 and Athinon Avenue.

Farming used to dominate the community and much of the area was and remains deforested. The western half are rocky. Today, urbanization covers the south, central, westcentral and east.

The place was founded in the ancient times. It was one of the 100 municipalities in ancient Attica. In the end of the 6th century BC. Theophilos Corydalleus (1563-1646) was a philosopher lived in Corydallos. 200 years later, there was Emmanouil Koutsikaris named the area that time San skytalodromia, and was renamed Pachy or Pachi or Pahi/ In 1923, the village was renamed Korydallos. The population in 1928 was 2,500. In 1934, Korydallos became an autonomous commune until 1946 when it became a municipality and a city. The city is now 60,000.

Korydallos has schools, lyceums, gymnasias, banks, a post office, and squares (plateies). Korydallos also has a secondary soccer team named Aetos Korydallou which Aetos means eagle in English.
