Konrad Kujau (June 27, 1938, Löbau, Saxony - September 12, 2000, Stuttgart, Germany) was most noted for being a well-known forger, who faked artwork, and later made a name for himself when he forged 60 volumes of Adolf Hitler's supposed diary. He later sold this to the German magazine Stern in 1983. He was convicted of fraud in 1985, and served three years in prison.
