Knoydart
|
Knoydart is a peninsula on the west coast of Scotland, in the UK, sandwiched between Loch Nevis and Loch Hourn—often translated as "Heaven" and "Hell" respectively. It is sometimes referred to as "Britain's last Wilderness", and has a resident population of roughly 100 adults. It is only accessible by boat, or by a 16 mile (26 km) walk through rough country. It has seven miles of tarred road, which is not connected to the UK road system.
