Kirklees light railway

Kirklees light railway is a Narrow gauge railway in Kirklees, consisting of 8 miles (13 km) of 15 inch (381 mm) gauge line running along an old branch line which used to connect Clayton West and Skelmanthorpe with the main Sheffield-Huddersfield line.
The journey gives fine view of Emley Moor Radio Mast and includes the longest tunnel on any 15 inch (381 mm) gauge line in Britain.
The Kirklees light railway includes several one third scale engines including "Owl", "Badger", "Hawk", and "Jay".
The KLR is situated in Clayton West, on the A636, about two miles (3 km) west
of Junction 39 of the M1 motorway.
