Kinetic art

Kinetic art is art in which motion is an important element. This motion may be real, as in the kinetic sculpture of Naum Gabo and mobiles of Alexander Calder, for example, or imagined, as in the Op art paintings of Bridget Riley and others.
The kinetic art vogue had a peak from the middle 1960s to the middle 1970s.
