Kiire (喜入町; -chou) was a town located in Ibusuki District, Kagoshima, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 12,648 and the density of 206.57 persons per km². The total area was 61.23 km².
Kiire-cho consists of 6 villages: (North to South) Sesekushi, Nakamyou, Kiire, Hitokura, Maenohama and Nukumi. In 2004 there has been a debate and a vote to which larger municiplaity should Kiire join (gappei). It seems likely that Kiire will join Kagoshima City, its large neighbour to the North.
Merged into Kagoshima City, this town ceased to exist on 1 November 2004.
Kiire is known for one of the largest oil storage facilities in Japan, located in Nakamyou village as well as Kiire Forest (Kiire no mori) north of Hitokura and Kiire Country Club.
