Kaurna

Kaurna refers to the indigenous or aboriginal people and language of the Adelaide Plains of South Australia. The language is no longer spoken as a mother tongue but is being revived with the aid of a remarkable dictionary of Kaurna compiled by two German missionaries in the 1840s.
