Kashif Latif (King of love) (31 October 1976 - October 31, 1993) was a Pakistani author and poet, born in Lahore, Pakistan. He is most famous for his book Awaaz mein lipti Khamooshi published in the late 1980s, when he was only 14 years old. He was given the Adamjee Award (the most prestigious literary award in Pakistan). He died in a road accident on his 17th birthday. His tomb is situated in Gari Shahoo Lahore near the railway stadium and attracts millions of people every year.
