Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center

The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center is a museum and educational facility in Hutchinson, Kansas that is best known for the display and restoration of space artifacts.
The Cosmosphere began in 1962 as a planetarium on the Kansas State Fairgrounds. The current facility includes an IMAX theatre, the Justice Planetarium, and one of the largest collections of space artifacts in the world. Educational programs include the Future Astronaut Training Program and Dr. Goddard's Lab.
Included in the collection at the Cosmosphere are an SR-71 Blackbird, the Liberty Bell 7 capsule from Mercury 4 and the Odyssey command module from Apollo 13.
