The KDE Edutainment Project develops educational software for the K Desktop Environment (KDE). This software is bundled in the kdeedu package.

Languages
- KHangMan - Classical hangman game.
- KLettres - Helps to learn the alphabet and then to read some syllables in different languages.
- KMessedWords - Simple mind-training game, in which you have to "figure out" the word that has been given in the program.
- KVerbos - Application specially designed to study Spanish verb forms.
- KVocTrain - Vocabulary trainer using a "flash card" approach.
- Kiten - Japanese reference/learning tool.

- KBruch - Program for generating tasks with vulgar fractions.
- Kig - Program for exploring geometric constructions.
- KPercentage - Small math application that will help pupils to improve their skills in calculating percentages.
- KmPlot - Mathematical function plotter.
Miscellaneous
- FlashKard - Vocabulary studying tool for learning languages or termninology. (Now obsolete)
- KTouch - Program for learning touch typing.
- KWordQuiz - A tool giving you a powerful way to master new vocabularies (replaces FlashKard).
- KTurtle - Educational programming environment using the Logo programming language.

- KStars - Planetarium program.
- Kalzium - Displays information about the periodic table of elements.

- KEduca - Educational project to enable the creation and revision of form-based tests and exams.

- Kard - a pair-matching children's memory game.
- KGeography - a geography learning program.
- KMathTool - a collection of mathematical calculators, like a factor finder.
- KSimon - computerised version of the game, Simon Says.
