Julian Lewis

Dr Julian Murray Lewis (born 26 September 1951, in Swansea, Wales) is a British politician, and member of Parliament for New Forest East. He is a Conservative, and was first elected in 1997. Locally, he opposed the development of a large container port on Dibden Bay, between Marchwood and Hythe. In government he currently holds the position of Shadow minister for the cabinet office. He is eurosceptic and has been described, by Quentin Letts of the Daily Telegraph, as "one of the most vigorous rightwingers in the Commons."
