John William Ritchie

John William Ritchie (26 March 1808 – 13 December 1890) was a Canadian lawyer and politician from Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Appointed to the Nova Scotia legislative council as Solicitor General in 1864, he was a delegate to the London Conference on Canadian Confederation. Appointed to the Canadian Senate in 1867, he was a judge of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia from 1873 to 1882.
