John R. Levine is an Internet consultant. He chairs the Anti-Spam Research Group or ASRG of the IRTF, is a board member of CAUCE, a member of the ICANN At-Large Advisory Committee, and runs Taughannock Networks. He also has written many books including "Internet for Dummies". He is also mayor of Village of Trumansburg NY.
