Jeremy Taylor (singer)
|
Jeremy Taylor is a British folk singer / songwriter who has spent much of his life in South Africa, but is now living in Wales.
His songs are political and biased but impartial - that is he is happy to ridicule all systems - and usually humourous. He has the dubious claim that he has been banned from performing by both pre and post apartheid South African governments.
Some of his more popular songs are: "Jobsworth", "Ag Pleez Deddy", "The Pot song", "Mrs Harris" and "Prawns in the game".
In the 1970s he recorded a live album with Spike Milligan entitled Spike Milligan and Jeremy Taylor: An Adult Entertainment.
