Jean Marie Faircloth (December 28, 1898 - January 22, 2000), a socialite and philanthropist, was the second wife of General Douglas MacArthur.
They were married in April 1937 and were together until the general's death in 1964. She called him "Sir Boss." In her later years she often gave speeches on her late husband's military career.
She and MacArthur had one child, Arthur, who was born in 1938 and changed his surname as an adult. He now lives anonymously as a saxophonist.
