James Dudley (born 1921 - died June, 2004) was a famous worker for the World Wide Wrestling Federation (now World Wrestling Entertainment). He was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 1994. This is a summary of his career of working for the WWWF, a McMahon family company.
For years Dudley worked in WWWF in a backstage job and he became friends with Vincent J. McMahon, who is the father of current WWE chairman Vince McMahon. Because of his hard working spirit, Vince Sr. promoted him to manager of the Turner Arena in Washington D.C.. He was the first ever African-American to manage a major arena in North America.
