Jakey Lou Williams (born February 15, 1957, Norfolk, Virginia, United States), better known as Jake E. Lee, is a guitarist and composer of rock music. Lee is most famous for his collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne from 1983 to 1987. Subsequently, Jake formed a group called Badlands with vocalist Ray Gillen, bassist Greg Chaisson, and drummer Eric Singer. Badlands's self-titled debut was released in 1989. Eric Singer was replaced by Jeff Martin for the group's 1991 effort, Voodoo Highway.
Jake E. Lee was also an early member of Ratt and Rough Cutt. Jake E. Lee and Ronnie James Dio briefly considered playing together, but soon parted ways.
Through the 1990s and into the 2000s Lee has kept a fairly low profile, appearing as a guest artist on many "tribute" albums.
