Junior Intercontinental A is a kart racing class for drivers aged 13 to 15.
It uses 100cc air cooled piston-port two-stroke engines and chassis which are approved by the CIK.
There is a European championship which has three qualifying rounds at different circuits on the same day and then the top drivers proceed to the final, and it is also included in the Oceania and Asia-Pacific championships.
It is often run in national championships, perhaps with different tyre rules and is one of the more expensive kart classes.
