An Irish Car Bomb is an alcoholic beverage similar to a Boilermaker. An Irish Car Bomb is a pint of Guinness, into which is dropped a shot glass filled half with Irish whiskey, and half with Irish Cream. The drink is meant to be consumed very quickly after adding the shot, as it will foam over if the drinker delays.
The name refers to a violent terrorist tactic commonly associated with the Irish Republican Army.
