International Trotskyist Opposition

The International Trotskyist Opposition was a Trotskyist international organisation. It arose as a current within the United Secretariat of the Fourth International, but its largest organisation, the The Revolutionary Marxist Association/Proposta in Italy, was expelled from the USFI section there. It also included the Trotskyist League in the United States, which joined into the Solidarity grouping, and a number of tiny groups and individuals in Denmark, Germany and Britain. In 2004 the ITO fused into the Co-ordinating Committee for the Refoundation of the Fourth International (CRFI), but its website is still in place while CRFI websites are put in place.
