Iceland University of Education

The Iceland University of Education is located in Reykjavík and was founded in its present form in 1997, has been the leader in teacher education in Iceland for over 100 years. The university consists of two departments, the Department of Undergraduate Studies with six programmes of study and the Department of Graduate Studies.

Currently, the university has approximately 170 faculty and staff members and a student population of about 1800.
