HydroRacers

HydroRacers is a computer game mod by Stratactic Studio for various retail computer games. The only released version is for Battlefield 1942 (2002), released in 2003. It is a total conversion and features a theme based on water warfare, especially with high-speed motorboats armed with various weapons. The modification is working on expanding to Far Cry and Half-Life 2, as well as Battlefield Vietnam.
The HydroRacers development team was originally going to create a mod based on the Terminator movies, called Battlefield 2029. Development extended to a few models before copyright problem lead to a rename and work shifting to what would become Hydroracers.
On June 21, 2004 Stratactic Studio announced that they signed the band "Anything But Temporary" to create original music for HyroRacers.
