The word Hobbit can refer to:
- a hobbit, a small humanoid being belonging to the fictional Hobbit race invented by J. R. R. Tolkien
- The Hobbit, Tolkien's novel which first introduced the race of Hobbits to readers in 1937
- The Hobbit, a film based on the novel, made in 1977
- The Hobbit (video game) based on the novel, released in 2003
- the Hobbit computer – a Soviet home computer, based on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum architecture
- the AT&T Hobbit, a failed microprocessor design originally known as CRISP
- an extinct species of humanoid, Homo floresiensis, discovered in 2003 and informally dubbed Hobbits
- "hobbits", a term from Michael Denham's obscure list of mid 19th-century, the "Denham Tracts". The Denham source refers to hobbits as a "class of spirit". A very small minority believes this creature came from folklore
