Hidetsugu Yagi

Hidetsugu Yagi (八木 秀次 Yagi Hidetsugu, January 28, 1886 - January 19, 1976) was a Japanese electrical scientist who wrote several important articles that led to the development of the Yagi antenna, which allows directional communication with electromagnetic waves. He received the Blue Ribbon Award, the Culture Award and the Large Asahi Award of the First Class.
