Heartland Conference

The Heartland Conference is an NCAA Division II college athletic conference founded in 1999. Its seven founders are:
- Drury University of Springfield, Missouri
- Lincoln University of Jefferson City, Missouri
- Oklahoma Panhandle State University of Goodwell, Oklahoma
- Rockhurst University of Kansas City, Missouri
- St. Mary’s University of San Antonio, Texas
- St. Edwards University of Austin, Texas
- University of the Incarnate Word of San Antonio, Texas
The universities compete in several sports. Both men and women compete in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and tennis. Men compete in baseball and women compete in softball and volleyball.
In 2005, two of its members, Drury and Rockhurst, will leave to join the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
