Hashima District, Gifu

As of 2003 population data but with the decrease due to the November 1, 2004 merger of Kawashima, the district has an estimated population of 58,075 and a density of 2231 persons per km². The total area is 26.03 km².

On November 1, 2004 the former town of Kawashima merged into the expanded city of Kakamigahara.
