Hank Scorpio

Hank Scorpio (voiced by Albert Brooks) is a fictional character in the animated television series The Simpsons.
He is an evil genius and owner of Globex Corporation, appearing in the episode "You Only Move Twice" (airdate November 3, 1996). He offers Homer Simpson an ideal job and a new home for his family in the town of Cypress Creek. Despite being an evil genius with plans for world domination, Scorpio is friendly to Homer, the boss of his dreams. Homer is hired as a supervisor of several technicians working to bring a nuclear reactor online. Scorpio's character mirrors evil villains from James Bond movies, especially Ernst Stavro Blofeld. The episode has a Bond-esque theme song (a direct parody of the theme to Goldfinger), which plays during the credits, and "James Bont" appears in the episode. While Homer is happy in Cypress Creek, his family is homesick, and the Simpsons return to Springfield while Scorpio defends his compound from the U.S. government. Upon returning to Springfield, the Simpsons learn that Scorpio has bought the Denver Broncos for Homer (whose dream was to own the Dallas Cowboys), and that he has also managed to seize control of the East Coast of the United States.
- Homer: Awwwww! The Denver Broncos!
- Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good!
- Homer: You just don't understand football, Marge.
Coincidentally, the year after this episode aired the Denver Broncos won the Superbowl.
