The Hafia Linux Club (or Haifux) is an unofficial organization of members of the Linux community in Haifa, Israel.
The club was founded in August 1999 by Orr Dunkelman and Guy Keren as an unofficial gathering of a few students in the Technion -- Israel's institute of Technology. Since then the club has given more than 100 lectures on various topics, most of which have slides available online. The club is also known for its annual Welcome to Linux lecture series, which is intended to introduce new users to the Linux operating system.
