Guadalinex is a Debian based GNU/Linux distribution promoted by the government of Andalusia (Spain). It's used in:
- Schools (more than 100,000 PCs)
- Public libraries
- Centers for elderly people
- Guadalinfo centers
And more than 200,000 copies have been delivered to citizens.
The latest stable version is 2004, published in September 7th. In February 2005, it was announced that the next version will be based on Ubuntu Linux.
