Gioconda Belli (born
1948) is an author and was part of a resistance movement called
Sandinistas (FSLN). The FSLN fought the dictator
Somoza who had to go into exile in 1975. In 1988 she became famous due to her book "
The Inhabited Woman". Since 1990 she has been living in Managua and
Los Angeles. Belli was born in
Managua,
Nicaragua.
