Giffnock

Giffnock is an area within the Glasgow conurbation in Scotland, located where the A77 road from Glasgow to Kilmarnock crosses the A726 from Paisley to East Kilbride. It lies outside the City of Glasgow local authority area and houses the administrative offices of East Renfrewshire council. Giffnock is a relatively wealthy area, and is also home to one of Scotland's largest Jewish communities. The local MP for this area is Stuart Doherty having won over 56% of the vote beating Moira Eadie and Forbes Barron. Template:UKS-geo-stub
