Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology - GIKI is one of the premier institutes of higher learning in Pakistan. The classes in this university started in 1993. GIK Institute offers graduate and post graduate degrees in five disciplines including electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, computer systems engineering and applied physics.
It is situated beside the mighty river Indus in the province of North West Frontier Province (N.W.F.P). The small town nearby is Topi, whose population largely comprises of pathans.
