George Constantinescu

George (Gogu) Constantinescu (1881 - 1965) was a Romanian scientist and engineer, considered one of the country's most important. He was responsible for creating a new branch of continuous medium mechanics, called "sonicity", which described the transmission of mechanical energy through vibrations. He also invented the sonic engine.
