Fried bread
|
Fried bread is bread, sliced or baked especially for the purpose, fried and served as part of, or as an acompaniment to, a food dish.
In a traditional Northern Ireland breakfast (or Ulster fry) one would come across two types of fried breads. Fried soda bread and fried potato farls (a dense potato bread) were common at the traditional Northern Irish breakfast table.
A British fry-up may include fried bread, as may the traditional full English breakfast.
