Fraw Bow, as seen in Mobile Suit Gundam.

Fraw Bow (フラウ・ボゥ) is a charactor of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam.

She is Amuro's next-door neighbor on Side 7 who has made it her personal responsibility to manage his welfare. Before they get caught up in the war, she constantly stops by his house bringing him food and making sure he eats and sleeps and bathes, seeing as his busy business trip-bound father doesn't ever look after Amuro. Frau ends up losing her mother and grandfather in the Zeon attack on their colony, and afterwards she becomes the surrogate mother of the three orphans Katz, Letz and Kikka. And in the rare moments when they aren't by her side, Amuro's ball-shaped robot Haro is always rolling right behind her. At first she usually just served as caretaker for the three orphans while doing anything required of her on the side, but after Sayla becomes a pilot, Frau officially fills Sayla's old job as Bright's communications officer though still looking after Katz, Letz and Kikka. Frau, deep down, harbors strong romantic feelings for Amuro, feelings that clearly aren't requited. This was perhaps clearest when the White Base crew met the sparkly and pretty Lieutenant Matilda Ajan and had the ship's male crew, Amuro in particular, wrapped around her finger with him harboring a strong adolescent crush on the lovely Lieutenant. When Amuro's prowess as the pilot of the Gundam grows along with his unequaled Newtype powers, he starts to feel more and more alienated from his comrades and starts to retreat much from Fraw to her saddness. That's when she and Hayato gravitated towards each other after Hayato bears his soul to her confessing his yearning to be as good a pilot as Amuro when he is injured in battle. After the events of the original Gundam and during Zeta Gundam, Frau is now married to Hayato, pregant, and has adopted her three orphan wards, only to be tragically widowed when both Hayato and Katz are killed in battle, Katz during the Battle of Gryps in Zeta Gundam and Hayato during the Colony Drop on Dublin in Double Zeta Gundam.ja:フラウ・ボゥ
