The Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB, German: Deutsche Börse) is located in Frankfurt, Germany and is owned by Deutsche Börse Group.
It is the largest of eight German exchanges. As one of the biggest market places in the world the FWB combines 90 percent of turnover in German shares. Beside floor trading the electronic trading system Xetra one of the leading electronic trading platforms in the world is hosted by Deutsche Börse. Through Xetra German stock market was opened to foreign investors und market participants. Near to 140 of around 300 market participants in Frankfurt come from abroad.
