Feng Kuo-chang, (馮國璋 Pinyin: Féng Guózhāng courtesy Huafu 華甫 or 華符) (1858 - December 1919) native of Hejian, Hebei, was elected the president of the Republic of China on August 1, 1917. He retired on September 30, 1918. He died in Beijing of illness.
