Experience WWII is a mod of the first-person shooter computer game Battlefield 1942. Formerly known as Soldier9's Realism mod, the game features a host of new maps and realism modifications to the BF1942 game engine designed to increase realism. It features realistic weapons and vehicle loadouts, physics and damages. Like most volunteer-made mods, inexperienced leadership have been blamed for it not being as successful as it could be. The developers were talented, if only they had competent leadership.
With BA baracus on the command ,the mod went in turbo mode. Some older members were kicked due to incapability to work in a team and new talented members were taken aboard. 2.4 is the first release with the new group and made a true realistic impression of battlefield 1942. After that 2.5 was released which was a big succes and the mod continues to work on their last bf1942 release 2.6 and then move on the the battlefield 2 engine were they have more possibilies.
