Erich Gliebe
|
Erich Gliebe is a former tool-and-die maker and boxer and a former chairman of the National Alliance. Gliebe claims his activity in extreme right politics was inspired by his father who served in the German Wehrmacht in World War II. He became prominent within the National Alliance with his leadership of the Cleveland National Alliance chapter which he lead for 11 years. He was tapped by William Pierce to run white-power music label Resistance Records after the National Alliance acquired it in 1999. After Pierce's death in 2002 Gliebe followed him as chairman but was forced to resign in 2005 following a split in the organization.
