Epalaeontology.com is a paleontology-oriented portal, started in 2003. Originally designed to act as a hub for the Italian-speaking paleontological community, providing forums, web-based open content and general support, it was later expanded to include international, English-language material.
Despite some early difficulties caused by the general diffidence of the academical community towards web-based technology and activities, epalaeontology.com keeps struggling to bring the Italian paleontological community into the 21st century and to increase open philosophy awareness.
