The Entrance to the Elk Island National Park
Elk Island National Park, established in 1913, is located just east of Edmonton, Alberta. It is one of Canada's smaller national parks covering only about two hundred square kilometres. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, especially bison, elk, moose, bears, and beavers.
