Dulce Base

Dulce Base is the name for a supposed secret underground facility in or near Dulce, New Mexico, where, according to some UFO conspiracies, a joint alien/U.S. military underground genetics base exists. The theories state that alien technology was traded for permission to engage in human and animal mutilations.
Dulce Base conspiracy theories were first commonly circulated in the '80s. Since then, the conspiracy theories have grown, in large part due to the World Wide Web. It is highly likely that Dulce Base is an offshoot of the Area 51 conspiracy theories. However, Area 51 appears to exist (though it does not seem to have any extraterrestrial connections), while Dulce Base remains only speculation.
Vibrations from the ground near the town of Dulce have caused speculations of an underground facility; however, these are more likely minor earthquakes, which are known to occur in the area. Military helicopters have also been said to be "unusually milling" around the deserted area, although these claims are, at present, unproven.
Some less substantial evidence includes supposed 'leaked documents', videos and witness reports.
Notably, many people have claimed to spot UFOs in the area, some of which appeared to have headed 'into' a nearby mountainous range.
