Drumore Township is a township located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the population of the township is 2,243.
Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 74.9 km² (28.9 mi²). 61.9 km² (23.9 mi²) of it is land and 13.0 km² (5.0 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 17.36% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 2,243 people, 739 households, and 597 families residing in the township. The population density is 36.2/km² (93.8/mi²). There are 819 housing units at an average density of 13.2/km² (34.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 98.75% White, 0.27% Black or African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.27% from other races, and 0.53% from two or more races. 0.71% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
