Drakhri medium fighter

The (fictional) Drakhri medium fighter is a Kilrathi craft strongly and intimately similar to the Dralthi family which precedes and succeeds it in the Wing Commander universe. Except for armor protection and a slightly different hardpoint configuration, the Drakhri is identical to the later Dralthi VII (version 1) reconnaissance/strike fighter (the Drakhri is equipped with four dumbfire missiles and one chaff pod; the Dralthi VII has one fewer missile and no chaff pod but instead carries a jump drive and probably reconnaissance equipment using the same space and weight).
The Drakhri possesses three laser cannon as its primary forward armament, making it a very weak medium fighter; indeed, Kilrathi fighter design was dominated by a series of excellent heavy fighters and it is probable that the Kilrathi never considered medium or light fighters to be enough of a military priority to be worth expending more than minimal resources on.
