mSuper Android 17 saga is the third saga of Dragonball GT, taking place after the Bebi Saga and also the shortest arc of the series (in fact its the shortest of all the DB universe, even the Garlic Junior Saga is longer then this). This arc see the return of android 16 after mysteriously dissappering after the Cell Saga.
This saga begins with the traditional Martial Arts tournament where we find Goku (still a child) competing in the children division of the tournament due to a height requirement (though truthfully Mr. Satan made up the rule cause he was scared to face him) while Pan fights in the adult division. Pan manages to make it halfway through the tournament but the thought of looking like Hercule if she won scares her and she drops out. Goku also easily makes his way through the tournament, but a distraction by Vegeta causes him to accidentally get knocked out of the ring by his opponent. In the end it Hercule vs. Pipiea Man (Uub in disguise), where Hercule wins when Majin Buu contacts Uub within him (he was absorbed in the Baby Saga by Uub) and explains why Hercule needed to win: to keep the hope of the people since he their hero.
Afterwards, we go to the underworld (or HFIL) where Dr. Myu is wandering around and is met by Dr. Gero (from the Cell Saga). Seeing that the two have Goku as a sworn enemy, they team up to get revenge. Building a artificial Android 17 then contacting the real one on Earth. Afterwhich the two androids open a rift to Earth allowing all the villans from the past two series to escape and cause chaos. King Yama contacts Goku of whats happening and Goku flies through the open portal to find out whats going on.
Once there he immedently meets up with the two scientists and their android but they take off through the portal and close it, trapping Goku in the otherworld. If that wasn't bad enough, two of Goku's worst enemies from the past, Freiza and Cell, have stay behind to exact their revenge.
Back on Earth, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Uub, Vegeta and Pan are easily dealing with their past adversaries. Durings this ruckus however Krillen and his family are stuck in traffic watching whats happening least until the real Android 17 confronts them and tries to get his sister, 18, to rejoin him. After she refuses, 17 kills Krillin and then tries to kill 18 after she tell her daughter Marron to escape. As 17 flies away, 18 crawls to her husband before she stops moving. Normal 17 and the artificial 17 soon meet up and join together to become Super Android 17.
Meanwhile in HFIL, Goku ends up in the lowerest part of the land where he meets with Cell and Freiza. After a bit of a tussle with the two, Goku ends up getting frozen thanks to a weird ice machine. Cell and Freiza go to finish him off, but the ice melts around Gko due to the machine only working on dead residents whereas Goku is still alive. Once he breaks, Goku use the ice machine on the two villans then accidentlly breaks them when he goes to check it out. Goku them flies to the edge of the realm but finds the enterence is closed.
On Earth, Super Android 16 challenges the Z fighters but none of their moves do any damages and the android quickly knock everyone down with Myuu and Gero gleefully looking on. Back in the otherworld. Goku tries to call for assistence from King Yama but he too busy to open it. That when Piccolo interves and request that Yama sends him to HFIL to help. Yama refuses however so Piccolo takes drasitc measures by blowing up most of the good realm (though he apologizes for it). Seeing this, Yama cast Piccolo down to HFIL where he meets up with Goku at the edge. He then contacts Dende to help him open a portal to Earth by synconizing their energies. But their timing is off every time they try it. Thats when Goku comes up with a suggestion to use a silly ryhme to help their timing. As silly as it sounds, it works and Piccolo and Dende manage to open a portal. With a quick thanks to Piccolo, Goku flies back to Earth.
Back with the Z Fighters, their still getting their butts kicked and continually mocked by the docters. Least till Pan sneaks up and grabs Dr. Gero, demanding that 17 stop hurting her friends. Gero tries to comply to her wishes but as it turns out Myuu had reprogram 17 to listen to him. He was double-crossing Gero all along and shows it when he orders 17 to kill Gero, which the android does with a energy blast (Pan gets away luckily). The android then shifts it attention back on the Z fighters. But Goku arrives on the scene and challenges 17. Soon going into Super Sayiin 4 to take him on.
However it seems no matter how many time he hits 17, the android comes back unscathed and even more powerful. It then that Goku realizes 17 is absorbing his energy and using against him. Goku then tries for a most powerful energy blast but all it manages to do is blow a hole into the land, leaving Goku powerless and back in his child form. As 17 goes to kill Goku, 18 suddenly shows up ready to avenge Krillin. She yells at 17 for being weak by being controlled by someone and that the regular 17 wasn't like this. This strikes a cord within 17 and he turns his energy blast on Myuu before going back to 18 and Goku.
18 then starts bombaring him with energy blasts which 17 gleefully abosorbs. However this leaves him wide open and allows Goku to finish 17 with the move that destoryed King Piccolo: The Dragon Fist Punch! After the battle Goku consoles 18 about what happened, that her brother seem to actully help them defeat him and that Krillin would be happy to which she thanks him. Goku and his family and friends then seek out the dragon balls to wish everything back to normal. But when they find them, they notice that balls now have cracks on them.
Could this be a bad thing?
