Donebach

Donebach is a local part of Mudau in Odenwald and has 369 inhabitants.
It is location of a 500 kW longwave transmitter on the frequency 153 kHz (program: Deutschlandfunk, owner of the plant: German Telekom AG). The two radiating transmitting poles are since their heightening in the year 1982 on 363 meters the second highest buildings of Germany (only the TV tower at the citizen of Berlin Alexanderplatz is somewhat higher with 368 meters height). Both masts are grounded, the high frequency energy into approximately 300 meters height over the cords are fed).
