Domino Records
|
Domino Records has been the name of three different record labels, two United States based labels from the first third of the 20th century, which are listed here, and a late 20th century and 21st century label based in the United Kingdom (see Domino Records (UK)).
First U.S. label
The first U.S. Domino Records debuted in 1917 and went out of business later that same year. They produced 7-inch vertical-cut disc records.
Second U.S. label
The second, better known, Domino Records was in business from 1924 to 1933, producing standard 10-inch lateral cut 78s. The label was a subsidiary of Plaza Music, headquartered in New York City.
